Coxbangla report(27 January) :: The 76th Republic Day of India was celebrated in the port city of Chittagong with colorful arrangements.
On this occasion, a meet together and cultural program was organized on the initiative of Assistant High Commission Office of Indian High Commission Chittagong on Sunday (January 26) evening at the premises of Assistant Indian High Commission AHCI in Chittagong city.
Assistant High Commissioner Dr. Rajeev Ranjan and Second Secretary Shri Udot Jha greeted the guests on the occasion.
After that, the ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp by the invited guests.
Assistant High Commissioner of the Indian High Commission in Chittagong Dr. Rajeev Ranjan expressed hope that this friendship would be strengthened by highlighting various aspects of friendship between India and Bangladesh.
He said, “Bangladesh is an important partner of India. Both countries share music, art, history, language, culture. Bangladesh-India relations stand on a tested and solid foundation. Close partners and true friends in the journey of progress and prosperity of the two countries.
He believes that friendship between the people and the people of India and Bangladesh will continue and reach new heights.He thanked everyone for attending the Republic Day function.
