news desk :: The Assistant High Commission of India in Chittagong has organized a day-long yoga exercise on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
The event was held at the Naval Convention Center in Chittagong on 18th june Saturday morning.
More than 1,200 people including freedom fighters, politicians, administration, corporate personalities, academia and especially students participated in the day-long event.
Assistant High Commissioner in his welcome speech. Dr. Rajeev Ranjan thanked all the participants.
He says yoga is the only system that has survived for more than 5,000 years without any state patronage. Yoga exercises strengthen the human intellect.
Yoga exercises are becoming popular because it is a holistic science that integrates our physical, mental and spiritual health.
Yoga builds us as advanced human beings in thought, action, knowledge and devotion.
At this time shri Udot Jha,Second Secretary Indian High Commission of Chittagong and other officials were present.
