The role
This role will work collaboratively with all seven programme leads in Rohingya Response and other departments in the Rohingya Response and Country Office to ensure smooth submission and close out of FD7/FD6 applications for all projects. The position will be also responsible for the roll out of FD processes, improving internal ways of working and act as focal point for FD related matters for the Response Team, especially in terms of compliance and identification of potential difficulties in advance.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field related to development or humanitarian programming
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in any development/humanitarian organization in similar position
- Previous experience coordinating Govt. of Bangladesh processes and engaging governmental stakeholders
- Fair understanding & experience of NGO Bureau requirements & exposure to donor regulations and compliance mechanism
- Understanding of Budgeting and Reporting
- Familiarity of Project Management
- Understanding of project design
- Able to work independently
- Proven experience in coordinating between different departments
- Solid organizational & planning skills
- Ability to work positively with people from different cultures
- Fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking)
- High level of competency in Word and Excel
- Eligible candidates form Cox’s Bazar locality will get preference
Contract length: 12 months with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
